Description
We want to ignite the interest of local people to change municipal places which seems to have no investment potential, but still they can contribute to the life of the village. One of the places was chosen for this project. The aim of the project is to revitalise a forgotten place in the village of Tasov, which would come alive with a new life. Requirements, ideas and inspirations will be discussed with local people and processed into an architectural and garden study, which would be implemented in the future with direct collaboration with council of Tasov. During the project we plan to have 5 main activities which will lead us to the aim of the project. Activities are: public announcement, meeting at the place for public discussion with people who will be interested in the change of the place, cleaning of the place from old rubbish, developing the architectural and garden study and final introduction of plans as a basic for their implementation in next year in cooperation and financial support with council of the village. We plan to achieve final design of the chosen locality for local people to imagine its potential and start to recover the place for inhabitants'' benefit. With this project we also want to show the journey of transforming abandoned places which can serve for common use.
Summary of project results
Above all, we managed to achieve a change in thinking about the place. Thanks to architectural sketches, people got a clear idea and "saw" the place with new eyes.
Local companies offered assistance in the implementation of the project, both working and financial. Thanks to the garden design, there was also a solution with water in the given locality and the local purification
a well from which water would be taken to water the plants during planting. At the same time, the old school building has become visible and the Tasov council will negotiate the repair of the entire facade,
which would significantly help the overall better condition of the place. The plans will serve as a binding basis for demolition, construction and installation work in the coming years.
