Description

A major bearing activity of the project is building the green Logistics Centre nearby the Biogas Station, that will serve as a source of an electric power and a heating for drying the biomass, which will lead to the creation of a waste-free operation, that will not only produce the electric power, but the biofuel as well. Potential users of the built Biogas Station services and the related logistic centre are the following: 1. Farming businesses in the region - BGS is an extremely efficient and reliable tool, ensuring a long-term purchasing of agricultural products, and it also offers the agricultural waste disposal. 2. Industrial companies and the municipality - BGS presents very cheap, reliable, and environmentally clean source of heat. In addition to biogas and fertilizer production, the Biogas Station eliminates the waste as well. In case of the sterilizer usage, it is also possible to dispose of animal waste, as well as the external companies or neighbouring farms waste for a fee.

Summary of project results

All project partners are involved in the project without any problems and the whole logistics center is working well. The construction of the logistics center was going well, the drying line was launched later than it was planned, so the quantities of pellets that had been expected have not been reached yet. The biogas station has the required power. The project has many suppliers of raw materials, of which there are not all contracted, but the supply of raw materials is going well. Therefore, the biogas plant does not have outages in operation, unless it is necessary to shut down the device due to the equipment check out. Three accompanying events were carried out, 2 were attended by the Government Office and the Norwegian Embassy. The project was described in regional newspapers, including the web, everything is documented and published on the project site www.bpstvrdosin.eu. The project is well known in the region and it has a great interest to visit the logistics center as well as to various lectures directly by schools.

Summary of bilateral results

In the beginning, cooperation with NIBIO was more complicated due to poor selection of communication channels. Consequently, communication has improved and the partner has fulfilled his duties. The partner made the research of the soils as it was announced in the Project claim, then he processed the findings and analyzes into the report which was provided to the project promoter and at the same time presented to the general public at the final conference.
