Summary of the results

In the second half of 2021, three informative videos were filmed: "Bringing Change to Challenging situations", "Dynamic security", "The Good Prison Officer". Also, a separate introductory film was created in which apart from representatives of the donor state also representatives of Latvian correctional services were featured. Videos created show situations characteristic to the staff of the Norwegian correctional system and depict them in everyday situations, such as training new staff members, solving crisis situations, and similar. These videos were filmed in Norwegian – apart from "Introductory film" which was partly in Latvian and later subtitled in Latvian. Videos have already been used during the training of staff of Latvian correctional services and have proven to be a very successful and well-received study tool, and are also to be used in future training activities and seminars.
