Description

The main purpose of the project is to improve the quality of health care services provided to children of pre-school and school age in Joniškis and Raseiniai districts.  Giving this priority to mental health can ensure the well- being of children and youth.

After implementation of the project the methodical tools of schools and pre-schools educational institutions will be improved.  Health offices in these schools will be repaired and all the necessary equipment for the performance of health care functionality will be purchased. The acquisition and updating of literature, methodological and educational equipment need to improve the mental health of children and young people will improve the quality of work and make the activities more attractive to children and young people. Professionals will also improve and update their knowledge of mental illness recognition and prevention.

    • Challenge: Health offices in schools and pre-schools are either nonexistent or in poor condition, lacking the necessary infrastructure for health care services.
    • Project Aim: Carry out simple repairs and refurbishments in health offices, ensuring they meet the required standards for functionality.
  4. Lack of Methodological and Educational Materials:

    • Challenge: Shortage of various methodological, educational, and training materials created by health professionals for the improvement and prevention of children''s mental health.
