Description
Business bilateral meeting with partners from Atliungstad Brenneri AS (Norway) and potential partners from Iceland. The aim of the meeting is to agree on particular involvement in the prepared project and divide responsibilities. Also, we are aiming to exchange our know-how. We will obtain information about economic sustainability of operation of similar technical heritages in donor states. Our aim is to find out particular examples of balance between economic and cultural activities in management of historic buildings, which is situated at provincial region with huge touristic potential
Summary of the results
The following business bilateral meetings with potential partners from Iceland took place according to the plan: in Akureyri with the director and staff of the Industrial Museum, in Siglufjörður the Herring Era Museum and familly craft brewery Segull 67. Experience and knowledge were exchanged, usage of best practise and how to balance economic and cultural activities in managing the historic buildings was shared.
Futher cooperation and possible involment of the bilateral partners in the prepared project within the open call for proposals of projects focusing on revitalization of Czech cultural heritage is planned. The meeting was consider beneficial.
