Description
Project is focused on creation of environment that will systematically lead children to develop the right habits and teach them to perceive climate change at school and to realize the consequences of human behaviour towards the Earth and show them how to start with change from ourselves.
Main activities of the Project are the following:
Environmental education through updated curricula of existing subjects, new school environmental program focused mainly on plants growing, forestry and waste sorting, educational trail,
Installation of waste bins,
Creation of Arboretum,
Building educational climbing frames,
Creation of eco-educational area, creation of beds, parks with greenery, planting trees,
Building a greenhouse, construction of composters, building insect house.
All activities will be based on practical exploration and knowledge.
Summary of project results
The Project aimed to address following challenges in the field of climate change adaptation and mitigation:
- systematic education of students on impact of climate change and measures to mitigate and adapt to climate change with focus on water retention, waste reduction and greenery
- implement hard measures on climate change adaptation being in synergy with soft educational activities to support water retention, waste separation, biodiversity and share of greenery
Following Project activities were implemented within the Project:

Overall, 5 physical climate change responsive measures were carried out in school and school campus, more than 170 students participated the awareness raising campaign and 6 open access education materials were created.
The Project reached more than 7 hundred of persons selfreporting having more climate friendly behaviour due to implemented Project activities with impact mainly on students and general public as beneficiaries.
