Description

The project will occur in Iceland, Norway and the Czech Republic. The podcast is based in Prague and we will travel around the Czech Republic and neighboring regions to record both panel discussions and individual podcasts. Over the course of the 18 month program, and with the assistance of Hunt Kastner Gallery and their relationship with Aliance galerií současného umění, whose members include Drdova Gallery, Polansky Gallery, SVIT Gallery, Lítost, and more. We will have the opportunity to record podcasts with both Arts Professionals in the region, and the professionals that they bring to this region for exhibitions, conferences, and fairs. Throughout the 18 month program we will travel throughout the Czech Republic and neighboring regions to record at least 20 individual podcasts and 15 panel discussions.

We will travel to Iceland in June and November 2021. Each trip will last 10 days and we will record at least 10 individual podcast with contemporary Icelandic visual art professionals.

We will travel to Oslo, Norway in April 2021 for 10 days and record at least 5 panel discussions and 10 individual podcast with contemporary Norwegian visual art professionals. We will return to Norway in September 2021 to the Lofoten International Art Festival where we will record at least 5 panel discussions and 10 individual podcast with contemporary Norwegian visual art professionals.

Once edited, the podcasts will then be made available online for listeners worldwide. We currently have listeners in over 50 countries and look forward to the opportunity of expanding the reach of the voice of Norwegian, Icelandic and Czech contemporary visual art professionals throughout the world.
