OBJECTIVE:

The objective of the project is strengthening the cultural and educational offer in the revitalized new seat of the Theatre.

OPERATIONAL GOALS:

  1. combining history with the present by building the identity of a new place on the cultural map of Krakow,
  2. promotion of current events with particular emphasis on the multidimensional project entitled "Four shades of theatre",
  3. stimulating the activity of the local community with activities based on live art,
  4. activating the inhabiting minorities to rebuild their heritage,
  5. awakening the aesthetic aspirations of the inhabitants of Podgórze and Kraków.

EVENTS:

  1. organization of a multimedia spectacle of the interdisciplinary character of Jerzy Zoń''s spectacle, using various means of expression: literature, music, painting, dance, stage design, pantomime;
  2. organization of 3 theatre performances in four cycles divided into seasons;
  3. organization of four cycles of artistic workshops (entrusted to a partner from Norway - Newschool, that specializes in modern forms of informal education).

Summary of project results

During the implementation of the project, tehere were three very important problems that had a real impact on the actions taken. 1) pandemic - ongoing in 2020 and beyondAt the beginning of 2021, sanitary restrictions resulted in the closure of theaters and the impossibility of organizing any events in a stationary form for the public.Remedial action:  the entire Roots Theater series outdoors moved, thanks to which the performances and workshops could be presented despite sanitary restrictions. Firstthe planned seminar with the Norwegian partner was organized online because educators could not move between borders. 2) conditionunique in Poland along the border with Belarus and the war in Ukraine - the project included activities planned as part of the KTO Theater on the Road series, the aim of which wasreaching places with a theatrical offer where the cultural offer is very limited. The goal was the areas in eastern Poland. Remedial action: destinations changed from Sejny to Lublin, from Kruszyniany to Stalowa Wola and from Hajnówka to Goleniów.

The Creativity Center implemented an innovative method of developing people''s creativityg/Głuchych, which was created by the Miwagaka Foundation.20, 21 and 22. 01.2022 premiere screenings of the play "Serena - a treatise on vowels" directed by Katarzyna Małachowska.September 19, 20, 2022 premiere of the play "Arcadia" directed by Jerzy Zoń. The show "Arcadia" is a picturesque story about life and all its stages. The show was presented on October 13 and 14, 2022.3) Implementation of the performance cycle - body and ecologyNovember 5, 2021 - performance of the Sticky Fingers Club band (Poland)08/01/2022 - performance "Kamica79" performed by artist Marta Grygier, directed by Arti Grabowski;On January 12, 13, 2022, the Inter-university review of the Performance Art Studio of the University of Arts in Poznań and the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow "aKTOmaR" took place. The program included performances, frames, ephemeral etudes, concerts, installations and interdisciplinary activities. During the review, there were 27 premiere presentations by over 30 students
