Description
The objective of the project proposed by Comelf is to implement a new renewable energy source to produce electric energy, with no environmental impact and to improve the company''s eco-friendly position in accordance with its internal strategy. The energy produced from the new solar power system will be used for company''s own use.
The photovoltaic system will contain 3.000 solar panels, 10 inverters, 300 units of AI structure for flat roof for 10 panels and accessories. The technical solution proposed consists of a solar photovoltaic power system that produces electricity and is connected to the utility grid. The implementation of the project will take place in the same area as the company. The solar panels will be placed on the roof of its building. Being placed on the roof of the company creates multiple advantages. One of them is the fact that the project implementation location is very near the equipment, so the energy lost in the transmission process is almost zero. Key activities include:
- Investments related to the system.
- Project management consultancy.
- Publicity to promote the project.
The expected outcomes include an estimated annual CO2 emission reduction of 548,40 tonnes/year, 1200 MWh/year electricity produced from renewable sources and 1 new job created.
Summary of project results
The project is finalized and the equipment is installed: 1 photovoltaic installation producing renewable energy for own consumption; 990 kWp total project installed capacity = 0,99 MWp.
