Description

The main goal of this project is the development of entrepreneurial competences of students through training modules and courses for teachers and through their exchange of skills and knowledge. Both partner schools have already been cooperating in students'' mobility project focusing on Czech-Norwegian youth enterprises. As such, the fundamental idea is to cooperate also on teachers'' level.
Teachers from both countries will meet and organize appropriate program, which will broaden their knowledge and help to innovate their teaching practices.
Two Czech teachers will receive knowledge from Norwegian colleagues who have specific experience with student companies (in their case real companies). They will learn how to lead courses with focus on youth enterprises. This will enable them to search for possibilities how to incorporate this knowledge into their teaching strategies.
On the other hand, two Norwegian teachers will better understand news and challenges in the labour market through discussions with managers of Czech partner companies dedicated for students'' vocational training. This will be a unique opportunity, as they will directly speak to company managers who enable Czech students to go to practice. This would enable Norwegian teachers (together with their Czech colleagues) to better focus on pupils'' competences according to current employers'' needs. Accordingly, teachers will be able to incorporate this new knowledge to their current lessons and projects. Participating teachers from both countries will then spread the gained knowledge further among their colleagues through informational seminars in their schools.
This project will strengthen bilateral relations because teachers from both countries will be given a chance to visit the hosting country, to get to know the local culture and also thank to the job shadowing they will get a unique experience while teaching at a foreign school.

Summary of project results

The main goal of this project was an inter-cultural and professional exchange of high school teachers from Prague and Trondheim. According to the focus of both schools the main topic was the development of entrepreneurial competences of their students through training modules and courses for teachers and through their exchange of skills and knowledge.
The idea and content of the project reflected both strengths and needs of both project partners. Teachers of TSV Trondheim know how to prepare and conduct lessons focused on the creation of a youth enterprise but on the other hand they do not have enough opportunity to send their students to praxis. Contrarily, teachers of SSOB Prague do not have enough experience how to set up a youth enterprise but on the other hand their school give their students enough opportunity to go to praxis.
As a result, following activities were implemented: A workshop on "innovations in teaching", seminars in companies where Czech students have their vocational training, arranging opportunities for job shadowing, exchange of teaching experience and practice, a workshop on the Norwegian entrepreneurial mindset for teachers and seminar with Young Entrepreneurship Norway (UE Norge).
All participating teachers learned how to: work on a common project, communicate in an international team, lead courses with focus on youth enterprises, incorporate this new knowledge into current curriculums, face news and challenges in the labor market according to current employers‘ needs and present themselves and their ideas in a foreign environment.
The project itself was run in a very difficult conditions due to a Covid-19 epidemiologic crisis. As such the organizational part was very challenging for both partners. Nevertheless, this situation proved strong relationship and excellent flexibility of both partners. So the project was not important just because of the results but it developed a high level of enthusiasm and trust between both participating schools which led to new relationships and new ideas of further cooperation.

Summary of bilateral results

Without having a donor project partner the cooperation and the project itself could not exist. We needed our partner to share ideas and that project schools visit each other. Just the building and architecture of our partner school was a tremendous eye-opening inspiration for both teachers and students. The main benefit of our mutual collaboration were new relations between both parties. Students have new friends, teachers have new colleagues. Moreover, the cooperation will continue since our school is already preparing a new internship program between both project partners.
