Description

EEA stands for the name of a project in which EAGER ENTREPRENEURS will travel ABROAD to broaden their theoretical knowledge, international experience and practical skills.
The project consists of two mobility programs when both participating schools will visit each other. During these mobilities, students of both schools will live and work together. They will meet and learn from each other, they will work together in partner companies, they will attend various meetings and seminars and finally they will jointly work on a main goal of this project: creating a real Czech-Norwegian youth enterprise, which will compete in an annual Youth Entrepreneurship Exhibition in Trondelag County.
All these activities will lead to better inter-cultural, social, communication and practical business skills. The whole project will be organized and supported by accompanying teachers. Once successfully finished both partner schools will be able to continue in a future cooperation developing a long-term relationship.

Summary of project results

The main goal of this project was an inter-cultural exchange of high school students from Prague and Trondheim. According to the focus of both schools the main topic was the creation of a youth enterprise combined with a practical training in companies. As a result, following activities were implemented: Inter-cultural program (presentations, social games, sightseeing tours, all-day trip and common dining); One day seminar with Young Entrepreneurship Norway; An introductory workshop on “Democracy in business”; Youth Entrepreneurship presentations with further evaluation and practical training in local companies (security and safety training, theoretical preparations, a practice in companies). All participating students learned how to communicate in an international team, work on a common project, create a team and define roles, prepare appropriate presentation, and last not least, present themselves and their country of origin in a foreign environment.

Summary of bilateral results

The main benefit of having a donor project partner was a possibility to make the project happen and to realize the student exchanges. The collaboration definitely led to the improvement of knowledge and understanding different cultural habits in the school building, different teaching methods, different time management, different working environment and also different management techniques. All these aspects helped to better understand each other and raised an interest in a continuing cooperation. As a result, there is a real plan to continue the bilateral collaboration: a teachers’ internship program taking place in the nearest future.
