The mobility project aims at bringing together Skoda Auto University and University of South-East of Norway into building capacity and strengthening collaboration in the area of modern teaching methods of New Public Management and Active Citizenship through conducting staff mobilities. The project involves 16 staff mobilities in total from both universities, who will share knowledge and expertise on how subjects such as International Management and Managerial Accounting could become more international and engaging for the students at both universities by applying of modern tools for teaching and training. The project, which lasts 13 months, shows that when there are involved domestic and international teachers in courses with International context and digitalized teaching tools, it could increase efficiency and engagement in the learners. The project has long-term affect as democracy, active citizenship and internationalization are milestones for competitive advantage in teaching and learning at universities.
Summary of project results
The project addressed the common challenge for both partners, ŠKODA AUTO University and University of South-Eastern Norway, which was introducing and utilization of digitalization in teaching bachelor and master students.
During the project both partners conduced peer-teaching on best practices on approaching bachelor and master students more efficiently through different digital platforms and by implementation of contemporary teaching approaches such as business games simulations, case studies teaching and multidisciplinary approaches in teaching international management and financial management.
Project partners have conducted in total 16 staff (administrators and academicians) for the entire project period.
Also, the project has opened the door for wider cooperation between partner universities in teaching and science. The project has helped both universities to create networking of academicians, who will be organizing future Blended Learning Intensive Program in the area of e-moblity and business models in automotive sector.
Summary of bilateral results
The project benefited mainly from the Norwegian university (USN) thanks to the fact that this university has long experience and exposure in leading international developing, educational and research projects with EU countries and countries from Asia. Also, USN is member in the European network of digitalization, which makes it expert in the area of promoting and teaching digitalization across bachelor and master programs.
