Summary of project results
The project was aimed at developing mobility with Donor countries, restoring students exchange and initiating cooperation with new institutions from Iceland. Initially, a larger number of students exchanges was planned, but due to pandemic it was impossible to realize them. The project involved 8 people from Poland and 4 people from Iceland. Two students mobilities were possible to realize – travel to a college in Norway, 6 training trips, 2 visits to conduct classes and 2 to complete training. Students participating in trips are from Computer Science faculty. Employees taking part in mobility are 4 academic teachers and two administrative workers. Mobility visits are: 2 employees from the college and 2 employees from an enterprise. Main results of the project are: new students mobilities in Scandinavia – students seldom choose this direction in Erasmus; collaboration in subjects, which are important for both sides – e.g. new specializations, helping refugees from Ukraine, good practices in the field of innovative education, inclusive education etc. The project enabled to plan the following stages of cooperation – visit of representatives from a new partner institution, developing an issue of education by sport, planning new specializations or transferring good practices in terms of helping refugees from Ukraine. Students participating in the exchange decided to continue their education abroad.
Summary of bilateral results
Benefits resulting from cooperating with institutions from Donor-countries are above all: access to a high level education, practical knowledge and good staff resources. For the students it is also an opportunity to spend a semester in a modern campus, get to know a different culture, beautiful nature and people from all over the world. Further cooperation with partners under other projects and programs is planned, including Erasmus+.
