Description
The initiative is focused on introducing modern architecture in Norway, specifically via an exhibition and series of lectures, discussions and debates in the Czech Republic. The role of sustainable architecture in adaptation to climate change can be discussed among the Czech scholars, as well as expert and general public.

Summary of the results
The initiative acquainted the target group from the Czech public with the achievements of Norwegian architects in the field of sustainable architecture and introduced modern architecture in dramatic climates, dominantly in Norway (by Norwegian architects). The initiative succesfuly deliverd: an exhibition, lectures, debates and a free catalogue. The more inherent result was a deeper cooperation with the Snohetta studio, a long-term partner of the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery, which organized several succesful initiatives with Snohetta in the past. The initiative helped not only to rise the prestige of the Snohetta studio but also the awareness of sustainable architecture. The promotion of this contemporary trend of architecture, represented by SNohetta in Prauge, was the mutual aim and long-term commitment of both partners. Outcome of this initiate will surely lead into a next cooperation.
