Description

The initiative aims to establish a new cooperation between the Czech and Norwegian schools (involving also a private Norwegian company as an advisory body)

in the field of student companies that should prepare the students for working life through the experience of running their own companies. The newly established contacts and relations will be used in the future also for starting other projects, and internships.

The activities consist of two student workshops with case studies and presentations, evaluations of best practice and some other sound outputs stated in the Grant Application.

Summary of the results

AVS (Askim videregaende skole) arranged the first international meeting. It completed the joint study compiling the best practice in the student companies guidance in the warm-up stage. Specific contribution of the AVS to the overall project work was in the area of the teacher guidance in the student''s company lessons. AVS prepared the lectures and presentations for the teachers taken during the first evaluation conference and organized practical workshops and agenda for mixed Czech Norwegian student teams and provided assistance to the promoter with the promotional booklet summarizing the overall outcomes of the initiative. The Czech promoter organized the second international meeting in the Czech Republic. Czech teachers prepared the case studies for the participating students about trade negotiations and the "conference": evaluation of the first stage of the initiative (the warm-up stage in the students companies lessons – examples of good practice) and presentations of the case studies solved by mixed student teams evaluated by jury.

The gained results will be directly used in the teaching process of the both schools and will have positive impact of the school curriculas of the subjects connected with entrepreneurship. Both partner school plan to continue cooperating in the form KA2 strategic partnerships project.
