The curricula focused on management of rainwater and climatic change will be modified for the school education programme. Mainly children and students will benefit from the project implementation.

Summary of project results

A few years ago grammar school adopted a philosophy of the environmentally responsible school and therefore this project was exactly what the school needed. The project successfully implemented multiple soft measures - updated school curriculum (reasonable use of rainwater etc.) and hard measures (16 new trees, water retention tanks, etc). The project was written with realistic expectations for the results. The school expected a 100% disconnection of the areas of campus from drains, planting 16 kinds of plants, realization of 4 kinds of adaptation measures, involve issues into teaching - 4 lessons by changing the school curriculum (change finally touched five lessons), setting up websites and implementation of promotional events. Everything was fulfilled.
