Description
The aim of the project is to increase the management capacity of EIT Tugiliisu to ensure its sustainability and professionalism in providing services to vulnerable groups. Due to new staff there will be team-building trainings, the analysis of personnel work and a new job position for personnel specialist created. The organisation will also participate in volunteer leadership training and Volunteer Friend Label development programme. As a result, the activities of Tugiliisu will be more transparent, its management more efficient and the interests of its target group – people with mental disorders better represented.
Summary of project results
The aim of the project was to increase the management capacity of EIT Tugiliisu to ensure its sustainability and professionalism in providing services to vulnerable groups. there were plans to conduct team-building trainings, the analysis of personnel work and create a new staff position for a personnel specialist. There were also plans to participate in volunteer leadership training programs.
Project Promoter carried out team-building trainings and started with analysis of personnel work. New person was found for the position of personnel specialist. Covid 19 pandemic was a factor in delaying the implementation of other activities or modifications to implemented activities and did not allow to carry out them fully.
Implemented activities form a sufficient basis for the Project Promoter to continue with the implementation of planned activities in the future, namely introducing co-vision sessions conducted by HR staff and developing of volunteer recruitment process. Also, to increase its management capacity, Tugiliisu plans to implement the recommendations made during the project audit, updating all employees'' employment contracts, improving job descriptions, and enhancing the reporting system.
