Description

The rapid development of technology has converged with medicine and conventional technology. The data collected by people themselves could be used separately and in combination together with the traditional health, (disease) data already exist in the health system for disease prevention purposes and could provide significant added value in the personal medicine field. There is no suitable data tool that allows people easily integrate, analyse and visualise their heath data collected by third party sources. The aim of the project is to develop a solution to give people the opportunity to get an overview of their health data in a simple and clear way and make it possible for the user to link together health data collected from different parties. An application that enables people to collect, store and monitor their health data in a similar way to investments (including tracking the trend of change over time and predicting their own health output). The Health Card makes possible to link together: 1) health data collected by a user 2) health data collected by third parties, e. g. occupational health system 3) traditional health indicators collected by medical intuitions (e. g. General Practitioners). The settings of Health Card can be changed based on the profile of user, whether its user is an office or manual labour worker etc. Health data can be inserted and updated manually or automatically. Occupational physicians also use the analysis tool and general practitioners integrated with the existing medical system to better analyse and visualize the health data already is in the system.

Project target groups are as following: population aged 12 -95, medical institutions, occupational health institutions, employers, governments.

The synergy of technologies and knowledge that will result from cooperation will provide a good precondition for an innovative and competitive solution and for further and wider cooperation between Estonia and Norway.
