The current functionalities of Timbeter have already contributed to the effectiveness of the industry, but we see great potential for further development to disrupt the process in the industry even more. We aim to introduce a separate Timbeter Advanced version to the market that would address the market problems more widely than just timber measurement. Outcome: The objective of the small scheme project is to assess the market potential of Timbeter on the Scandinavian market, the feasibility of the technological solution and economic feasibility of the realisation of the development idea; and in addition to initiate collaboration with a Norwegian partner for the joint implementation of the development project.
During the small scheme project “Preparations for the further development of mobile timber measurement and data management solution Timbeter” necessary groundworks are carried out for the realisation of the development project. As the outcome of the main call project we will achieve the market readiness of Timbeter Advanced in cooperation with a Norwegian partner.
Target groups of the project are saw mills, paperwood, loggers, private forest owners, transportation companies, firewood manufacturers, operators of warehouses and ports, state forest management organisations.
