Description
The project consists in the elaboration of technical documentation for the establishment of a medical-social centre by rehabilitating an existing building. The technical documentation will be further used by the PP as part of other financing application to be submitted in order to finance the investment works.
This project is necessary because the low financial capacity of the applicant makes it impossible to elaborate technical-economic documentation in order to apply for non-reimbursable financing for this type of investment project. Considering the classification of the Ciortesti commune in the marginalized Rural Areas Atlas as having a severe marginalization rate and starting from the existing realities, the local public authorities wish to establish a medical-social centre.
On short term, the result will be the elaboration of the technical documentation. On medium term, the establishing of the Centre will increase the capacity of the local authorities of Ciortesti to implement the measures foreseen in the commune''s development strategy, aiming at local development and poverty reduction in poor, marginalized communities through developing the social and health infrastructure and through the implementation of an integrative policy for these communities.
On long term, the most important anticipated effect of the investment is that it will reduce the segregation and social exclusion of the marginalized group by reducing the social separation of members of this community by giving them equal access to inclusive quality medical and social services.
