Description

The aim of the project is institutional development, strategy setting and better sustainability and fundraising of the Divé maky, which has been operating successfully for 10 years but needs to reach a higher quality level to remain sustainable. The project is designed to help professionalize the organization and improve sustainability by improving the skills of the whole team, strengthening competencies, introducing changes to improve the quality of organization management, improving planning, implementing modern strategies, improving financial sustainability crowdfunding campaign in cooperation with the partners.

The starting point for the project is the need for the development, professionalization and sustainability for at least the next 10 years. Based on an internal analysis, they identified basic challenges: a non-existent medium-term (3-year) and long-term (7-year) coherent organization strategy; management, presentation, communication skills and project writing; better financial stabilization of the Divé maky scholarship program, etc. Based on this analysis, the project aims to create cooperation with experts and institutions, able to help the organization and the team members to plan a sustainable strategy of organization development, communication towards the public and fundraising, including crowdfunding.

There are two partners involved in the activities of the project. PR agency SKPR STRATEGIES, s.r.o. will provide pro bono services within the project publicity and planned crowdfunding campaign in February 2020. The partner will develop a comprehensive communication strategy for the project, provide communication training for the team etc. The RespectAPP advertising agency will ensure pro bono the creative part of the crowdfunding campaign in February 2020 to attract as many people as possible to support Divé maky at the lowest cost of the campaign. The Agency is also responsible for preparing the campaign visuals and overall campaign strategy.

Summary of project results

The aim of the project was institutional development, setting the strategy and better sustainability and fundraising of the civic association Divé maky so that it would not only remain sustainable but also increase its quality level. The project aimed to help the organization to become more professional and thus better sustainable by improving the skills of the whole team, strengthening competencies, implementing changes to increase the quality of organization management, improving planning, implementing modern strategies, improving the financial sustainability. The project consisted of 4 main activities, all of which were successfully completed and their fulfillment was key: Activity 1. Elaboration of a medium and long-term development strategy of the organization - an activity important for setting a short-term and medium-term development strategy of the organization. Activity 2. Development of a detailed fundraising strategy for 3 years - the activity was important for planning the fundraising and funding sources of the organization in the short and medium term. Activity 3. Project team training - needed to supplement the missing or insufficient skills of the Divvé maky team (internal team and mentors). Activity 4. Planning and implementation of the crowdfunding campaign - a key activity to ensure the sustainability of the Divé maky scholarship program and the fulfillment of the budgets of scholarship holders involved in the program from the first day of participation in it. The main results of the project were, on the one hand, the professionalization and professional growth of all members of the Dié maky team - both the organization''s management and regional mentors. On the other hand, the implementation of a successful crowdfunding campaign supported by corporate partners who provided their professional services created the Divé maky Fund, which will help to re-fund children who have not received enough or no support from individual donors. Revenue of the campaign together with the support of corporate partners: EUR 29,527. Number of people involved in the activities: 4 members of the Divé maky team and 18 mentors, 2 corporate partners and a number of other volunteers. The significance of the project is for Divé maky o.z. key to the further successful maintenance of the organization''s projects and activities, as well as the overall professionalization of the organization and the entire team.
