Summary of project results

Why was the project needed? The project was needed to meet the training needs of school counselors, to stimulate "change", to energize and increase the efficiency of the institution''s activity, to increase the visibility of the institution''s activity at the community level. I needed new models, a new breath, new actions to help achieve the specific objectives of the institution''s activity. The Alba County Center for Educational Resources and Assistance aims to improve the professional competences of school counselors and speech teachers through the activities of the project. It is the first European-funded project carried out by our institution.
Specific objectives of the project were: 1. Improvement of the skills of the teachers / logopathic teachers from CJRAE Alba in order to provide quality educational services; 2. Building some "teams of change" within the CJRAE Alba and in the school units in Alba county; 3. Experimenting and learning by the teacher advisors / speech therapists of the role of facilitator of the student centered education system.
Thus, through the participation of 4 school counselors in the course "The teacher as a change agent", we practiced teamwork, experiential learning, we developed new skills in designing a curricular design, we learned how to benefit from knowledge and experience. each team member to increase the quality of the services provided by the educational experts of our institution.
The results obtained from the development of the project consisted of learning innovative teaching tools, increasing the degree of collaboration and cohesion between the teachers within our institution. During this project, a network of collaboration between educational experts from Alba county was developed, as well as collaboration with teachers from other counties who had similar projects. The workshop - "Agent of change" and Inter-county symposium "Agent of change" had an increased impact among the participants. The results obtained were important because they contributed to the development of new competences of the school counselors, the identification of new elements in the organizational culture of Alba CJRAE.
