Summary of the results

We set ourselves as main aim to establish a bilateral CZ-NOR expert partnership to support the exchange of knowledge and experience and to define specific bilateral project ideas in the common field of research for potential project collaboration in the future goal when we submitted the application. Despite the unfavorable conditions caused by covid-19 pandemic, we were successful in fulfilling the aim of the initiative. We were able to connect 17 experts (13 from Czechia and 4 from Norway) from various institutions and fields of knowledge. We as the Academic sector were represented by experts from the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies, the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of the Environment at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústi nad Labem, experts from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, and one representant of the University of Economics in Prague, then we hosted two experts from public sector joined the initiative (Czech Nature Conversation Agency and Verdal municipality in Norway) as well as two representants of NGO (IREAS, Institute for Structural Policy). During the lifetime of the project, we defined areas for future project cooperation which have resulted in the creation of project fiche commonly developed by all partners. This fiche is ready to be approved if a suitable project call will be open.
