Description

To inspire and nudge key-specialists working with serious youth and family violence issues on the local level and help them come up with solutions for complex cases, four regional seminars and one youth exchange workshop in Estonia will be organised.

Seminars strengthen local level readiness and inclusion related to juvenile justice, restorative justice, and youth work development. The aim of the workshop is to learn from Norwegian experience in designing services based on young people´s voice and opinion. The aim is to encourage establishing Estonia’s own Change Factory and to promote youth

Summary of the results

Ministry of Justice has successfully finished the implementation of their bi-lateral activities. The Ministry of Justice carried out 8 regional seminars during 2022-2023 and at each seminar, there were at least 60 participants / specialists working with children and youth. Change Factory from Norway participated at a trauma-focused conference in Jõhvi in 2022 sharing the practices of youth’s contacts with the criminal justice system.
