Description

Aim of the Launching and Matchmaking Event of the Baltic Research Programme under EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, October 25, 2018 Tallinn, Estonia is to give an overview of the new period of the EEA/Norway Grants, introduce the first call to be announced in 2018 in Estonia and share the good experiences gained from the Norwegian-Estonian Research Cooperation Programme. A matchmaking part will be organized for researchers to get acquainted with the researchers from the other Baltic States and Donor States and explore the possibilities for developing a joint proposal to be submitted in this

Summary of the results

36 Latvian researchers participated in the event and received reimbursement of travel and subsistence expenses from the bilateral funds. By participating in the event Latvian researchers had an opportunity to identify common research themes and potential partners in the Baltic States and donorstates in order to develop collaborative research project proposals under EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
