Description
With an increasing number of members living in Portugal, the Norwegian club in Portugal (DNKP) which aims to increase the contact between members of the club as well as the Portuguese society, has also identified a need for an improved organization of practical information regarding moving to and living in Portugal. DNKP have collected some information, which is available for members on the Facebook group, categorized as LEXIA. DNKP would like to develop this further, and as we believe that Portuguese moving to Norway also could benefit from a “moving to Norway” tool, DNKP have invited
Summary of the results
The infoBANK initiative was planned and carried out as an ongoing process with current updates on the website: www.dnkportugal.no
The initiative had to change its progress plan due to the pandemic, but through online ZOOM dialogues it reached further and wider than planned.
The initiative uncovered 45 information topics, which are relevant for Portuguese-speakers in Norway and Norwegian-speakers in Portugal.
During the Release seminar on 9 April 2022 in Casa Cultura Cascais, the initiative was praised for its implementation and practical results.
The initiative''s further fate lies in financial follow-up from sponsors such as EEA-Grants and Clube Noruegues em Portugal - DNKP.
