Description
This project aims to strengthen the relations between research projects running at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) and at the School of Architecture of the University of Minho (EAUM), within the framework of the public programme of architecture exhibitions at the Centro Cultural de Belém/Garagem Sul.
The initiative consists of a visit of Portuguese scholars to Norway and of Norwegian scholars to Portugal, including public lectures in the context of the partner’s activities. A syntehesis of the presentations and debates will be published in the CCB booklet series Cadernos da
Summary of the results
Following the results-based management approach, the initiative aimed to bring together ongoing research at the School of Architecture of the University of Minho, which integrates the Laboratory of Landscape, Heritage and Territory (Lab2PT) and the School of Architecture and Design in Oslo. of Oslo.
The debate focuses on the dynamic relationships between marine ecosystems and the built and the built environment, allowing an understanding of how port cities and territories in Portugal and and Norway have been transformed by fishing practices, technological processes of fish processing and the processing and the impact of human activity on marine ecosystems.
