Summary of the results
It was reminded that everyone who uses the municipal wastewater system has an impact on it. The knowledge was spread (by using simplified scientific information to make it accessible by various groups., e.g. animations, presentations, webinars, scientific articles ) via different channels (Facebook, Research Gate,Instagram, webpage of Department involved in initiative, open conferences, online webinars and conference). The Initiative allowed cooperation between scientists from Czech and Norway and trained young Czech researchers during the internship in GenOk in Tromso, Norway. Also senior scientists from both countries were involved in knowledge transfer during the webinar on MinION sequencing. The knowledge generated within this collaboration was openly shared on Facebook and ResearchGate – the protocols and presentations were uploaded to those channels.
