Description
The aim of the visit was to discuss Programme Area 19 "Correctional Services and Pre-trial Detention" implementation in Lithuania. The representatives of the Directorate of Norwegian Correctional Service (KDI), Hedmark prison, Bredveit prison, Oslo Halfway House, Oslo Probation Office, Correctional Service of Norway Staff Academy (KRUS), the Ministry of Justice of Latvia and the Ministry of Justice of Bulgaria attended the visit. The participants from Latvia and Bulgaria shared information on their projects aimed at improving correctional services with a particular focus on building
Summary of the results
During the visit the planned implementation of the Programme Area 19 "Correctional Services and Pre-trial Detention" in Lithuania was discussed.
