Description

The project will increase the number of mobilities for students. The objective consists in extending the offer of mobilities to our students who are very interested in mobilities to the EEA countries. This mobility project will give the students the opportunity to develop: the way the student will operate in various places and spaces and the molding of artistic work into the formats of research. The project will give the students the opportunity to get knowledge production within art discourse and the way this concept can be linked to site of the mobility. The beneficiaries will be the students. The partner is an artistic centre (Kunstnerhuste in Lofoten) and its role is to offer the student a space and guidance for developing the artistical project within the natural and cultural environment of the place where it is situated. The project will lead to a future cooperation for sending more students and also for organizing incoming mobilities for the professionals in the field of art.

Summary of project results

The project was necessary for increasing the number of mobilities for students and for extending the cultural and professional area of choices for the mobilities. The results will be furtherly disseminated for attracting other students to do their mobilities in the European Economic Area. The objective of the mobility was to extend the offer of mobilities to our students interested in mobilities to countries from European Economic Area. The impact of the project consisted in developing the way the student could operate in different cultural spaces. We consider the outcome of this project consisted in getting knowledge production in the field of visual arts and offer to the participating student additional competences. We expect the mobility project will give the students the opportunity to get knowledge production within art discourse and the way this concept can be linked to site of the mobility The output of the project was the professional development of the student in the field of cultural management and a personal exhibition of the student at the art centre where the mobility took place. As the beneficiary stated, she had an outstanding experience with finding new approaches of developing art works. The main benefit for the beneficiary was the opportunity to get knowledge production within art discourse and the way this concept can be linked to site of the mobility. The partner in this project was very cooperative. Our university and equally the student participating to the project received full support from the partner for organizing the mobility.

Summary of bilateral results

We have issued this mobility project because our students were interested in Mobility to Norway. The student who participated to the mobility project has got competences the home university cannot deliver through its curriculum. She also learned how to connect her art works to the natural environment – the outcome consisted in an art exhibition. This partnership led to connection of the Romanian university to the artistic world in Norway. The results of the project have been disseminated on the university web page and to the seminars organized by the Office for Community Programmes. As we have had only one mobility, the impact of the project at institutional level is reduced.
