Halting the loss of biodiversity

The €590,000 Rescue Programme for Endangered Species in the Czech Republic supports 23 projects to stabilize populations of selected endangered species of plants and animals.

Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway are supporting the Rescue Programme with €500,000, with the Czech government providing the remaining 15% of the fund

The purpose of the programme is to develop new recovery programmes and implement already existing ones for endangered species. Through 2 open calls, grants were awarded to 23 projects to halt the loss of biodiversity.
