Description
Through the project the Archbishopric of Craiova creates an online application which will include 25 historical monuments from Craiova, Dolj County, South - West – Oltenia Region. The main purpose of the application is to create a uniform database that will contain historical monuments managed by the Archbishopric of Craiova in order to permanently maintain an overall view of their status and organise an effective prioritisation of strategies and policies in order to achieve the renovation and rehabilitation based on real need of reconditioning. Thus, each monument will be assigned a score calculated on the basis of an algorithm. This need is relevant because The South-West – Oltenia development region is the second richest region in Romania in this type of heritage. Also at the moment there are no physical or virtual instruments to be used in order to assure an efficient management of the historical monuments. The most important indicators of the project are the creation of 1 online application, the management of 25 historical monuments, 2 events organized, printed materials, 1 video spot, 1 audio spot and 1 documentary film.
Summary of project results
The grant contract was canceled on 04.11.2015 at the request of the promoter which did not want to continue implementing the project. The advance payment was reimbursed by the promoter to the PO.
