The programme Cultural Footprint – Arts and Education is providing support to artistic and educational projects to be developed in schools located in Portugal by Portuguese artistic entities in partnership with artistic entities from the donor countries – Iceland, Liechtenstein and/or Norway.

Art in schools
Each project proposal should consist of three entities – one or more Portuguese artistic entity, one or more artistic entity from any of the donor states and one school or group of schools in Portugal. Schools are involved in the supported projects helping to open up art and culture to a significant number of children all over Portugal. The aim is to promote inclusion of children and youth and interest for culture at an early age.

The programme is open for all artistic expressions including architecture, dance, design, digital arts, music, photography and theatre.
