Slovakian NGOs can now apply for funding from the EEA Grants.

L1015479

Civil society in Slovakia faces several constraints and challenges and lacks a supportive legal and fiscal environment. The economic and financial crisis continues to hit the sector hard.

Strengthened civil society development and enhanced contribution to social justice, democracy and sustainable development are key objectives of EEA Grants. Through the ‘Funds for Non-governmental Organisations - Active citizenship and inclusion’ programme, funds are made available to foster active citizenship, protect the environment and support children and youth activities.

The programme operator, The Ekopolis Foundation, is now accepting applications for funding.
