The EEA-financed NGO programme aims to strengthen civil society development and enhance the contribution of NGOs to social justice, democracy and sustainable development.
The programme will provide an important source of funding to help strengthen the capacity of the sector and enable NGOs to continue their vital role in pushing for more social justice and greater engagement of citizens in public life. This has become particularly acute given the challenges facing the sector aggravated by the continued economic crisis.
