The EEA Grants and Norway Grants represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to reducing economic and social disparities and to strengthening bilateral relations with 16 EU countries in Central and Southern Europe.
The Financial Mechanism Office (FMO) is the secretariat for the EEA EFTA States (the Donors) and is affiliated to the EFTA Secretariat in Brussels. It reports to the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. It also serves as a contact point for the beneficiary states and other stakeholders. The FMO has over 50 employees.
