Spain: Closing the old and launching the new round of EEA Grants

Three projects that received funding from the EEA Grants were presented at a recent event that marked the closing of the Grants 2004-09 in Spain. The way ahead was also presented to the participants.

One hundred people took part in the closing event in in Madrid on 30 May, where all projects that received funding from the EEA Grants in Spain between 2004 and 2009 were presented in a photo exhibition.

Facilitating the mobility of students, researchers and artists, restoration of cultural heritage in Segovia and conversion of a building in Gijon into a Business and Technology Centre are among the achievements of the EEA Grants in Spain. These are only three of the more than 20 projects that received funding from the EEA Grants in the period 2004-09 and they were presented at the closing event of the previous round of Grants in Spain.
