-An opportunity to step up our efforts

«From Waste to Energy» is the slogan of Norwegian company Biowas, which focuses on biogas-solutions for farmers. The company is now looking for opportunities to cooperate with Lithuanian counterparts through the Norway Grants. Director of Business Development Jens Måge took the oportunity to establish contact with potential partners at the green innovation conference in Oslo.

Norway Grants is investing close to €100 million in green innovation, and encourages cooperation between enterprises in Norway and the countries benefiting from the Grants. Almost 200 participants learned more about the opportunities for bilateral cooperation in green innovation at a recent conference in Oslo.  

Andrei Orban from The Environ Association and Robert B. Jacobsen from SAGAsystem also attended the conference.

Q “What potential do you see for cooperation?”
A: “We are already in the process of assessing projects in Poland and the Baltics. The green innovation programme makes us step up our efforts. New projects can also be realised because of the favourable financing that is available. We experience the investment climate in these countries as good, especially within renewable energy.”

Q: “What country is the most interesting for you and your enterprise?”
A: “Lithuania stands out as the most interesting country for us.”
