Participants at the event heard representatives of the Czech Focal Point, the fund manager NROS and the Norwegian Embassy congratulating the organisations selected for support and expressing their satisfaction with the quality of projects and the overall functioning of the fund. Several projects that had received support in the two previous calls under the fund were presented at the event. Among them was the association Arnika, who presented a video reportage about their campaign on trees and parks protection, and the Roma dance ensemble Šukar čhaja (pictured), whose performance was prepared as a part of a project implemented by the civic association Romano Jasnica

The projects approved in this round have a value of more than €1.9 million. 5 of the approved projects involve Norwegian partners. Since its inception in 2006, 181 projects have received support through the fund.

The €10 million NGO fund is the largest fund in the Czech Republic, and one of the largest funds supported by the EEA and Norway Grants. The full list of supported projects under this call can be found on the website of the fund manager NROS.
