Mr Einarsson is currently the Chief Political Adviser to the Icelandic Minister of Foreign Affairs. He will join the EEA and Norway Grants starting in January 2022.
Mr Einarsson joins the FMO with a wealth of expertise in foreign policy, policy-making, and international and EEA law. With a background as Supreme Court Attorney in Iceland, Mr Einarsson is currently serving as a member of the Executive Boards of Green by Iceland and Business Iceland. Mr Einarsson has also served as the vice-chair of the Icelandic Bar Association, and before that as a political adviser to the Icelandic Minister of Education.
