Hungarian equal opportunities fund launch call for proposals

On 21 April 2008, a €2.2 million fund to improve disabled access to Hungarian public buildings launched its call for proposals.

The equal opportunities fund, financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, will support a multitude of projects aimed at improving access to public buildings for disabled people. A total €2.2 million in grant support will be made available for projects working to remove both physical and communicational barriers, making public services reachable for all.

Project proposals can be submitted to the Public Foundation for the Equal Opportunities of Persons for Disabilities until 15 July 2008.
Further details can be found in the open call text, and by running a search for HU0029 in the EEA Grants project database.
