Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway are contributing with €30.9 million,while Greece is covering the remaining 20 percent of the call amount.
A workshop for entities keen to develop project proposals will be held on Crete on 13 March. The program will include sessions on all aspects related to the application procedure and evaluation process. Both the Greek Focal Point and the FMO will be present throughout the day to answer questions. For further details, please see the program and invitation.
In the open call, a total €36.25 million has been earmarked applications for individual projects within the priority sectors protection of the environment, protection of sustainable development, conservation of European cultural heritage, human resources development and health and childcare. An additional €3.4 million will be awarded academic research projects targeting any of these priority sectors. The call for proposals is open to applications from all Greek legal entities, ranging from public and private sector bodies to non-governmental organisations (NGOs). Projects may also be implemented together with partners from the donor countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. Applications can be submitted until 12 May 2008 to the Greek Focal Point.
