Grants for Hungarian-Ukrainian cross-border cooperation projects

Through the Hungarian cross-border fund of the EEA and Norway Grants, grants are made available to partnership projects carried out between the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County in Hungary and the Sub-Carpathian County in Ukraine.

The Hungarian-Ukrainian cross-border fund exists to promote cross-border sustainable economic, social and environmental development projects, with the overall objective of increasing cross-border cooperation in the Hungarian-Ukrainian border region

Projects carried out within the following priority areas are eligible for support: promotion of sustainable economic development; human resources development, education and cooperation within the field of culture and innovation; protection of the environment and nature; and local infrastructure development.

Applicants need to have at least one partner in the Ukrainian Sub-Carpathian County.

Project proposals can be submitted to the fund intermediary, The VATI Hungarian Public Non-profit Company for Regional Development and Town Planning, until 30 November 2009.
