Grants available for expert exchanges under the Czech research fund

€150,000 in grants are offered under the Czech research fund for researcher and expert exchanges between the Czech Republic, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

Savings in the €4.8 million Czech research fund has allowed for an additional call for proposals for short-term study visits, conference attendance or other activities organised or co-organised by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway in order to facilitate cooperation between experts in the Czech Republic and the EEA EFTA states.
Researchers or their employers may apply for a €15,000 grant, of which up to €5000 may be awarded to each expert. 10% of the total costs needs to be covered by the applicant. The activities may not last longer than one month and have to be carried out between 15 February and 31 March 2011.
Applications should be submitted electronically to fund intermediary National Training Fund before 12.00 am 31 January 2011. Experts from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway are recommended to apply through their Czech partners.
