The Polish-Norwegian research programme has a total allocation of more than €62 million, and aims to strengthen the research sector in both countries. Of the total allocation, more than €10 million have been set aside for research on carbon capture and storage (CCS).
Who can apply for funding?
- Polish research institutions, both public and private, can apply for funding. A Norwegian partner institution is required for the application to be considered.
What activities are supported?
Projects addressing one or more of the following issues related to CCS are eligible for funding:
- Storage pilots
- New innovative solutions for CO2 capture
- New knowledge that facilitates large-scale CO2 storage
- Environmental impact
- Enhancing public and political awareness of CCS.
