The EEA Civil Society Fund, launched by the Donor States (Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway), aims to provide crucial support to civil society organisations at a time when the democratic landscape in Europe is increasingly under threat. Fund Operators will play a pivotal role in managing these grants, ensuring that civil society organisations have the resources, tools, and capacities to make a positive contribution in their communities.
What does the role of Fund Operator involve?
As a Fund Operator, your organisation will be responsible for managing the implementation of the EEA Civil Society Fund within a specific Beneficiary State. This includes the assessment and selection of civil society projects, ensuring that the funds are allocated efficiently and transparently, and providing capacity-building support to local civil society organisations.
The role also involves engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including civil society organisations, government bodies, and international partners, to foster collaboration and ensure the success of the funded initiatives.
HOW TO APPLY
Interested organisations are invited to submit their proposals by 8 April 2025 at 13.00 (Brussels time). Detailed guidelines, including eligibility requirements and application procedures, are available on this site: https://FObidCSF.eeagrants.org/
