2 million in grants for cultural cooperation

Earmarked funds for cultural cooperation projects between Poland and the EEA EFTA states are now available in Poland.

Poland and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway have set aside €4.4 million to support partnership projects that help to enhance the countries` cultural cooperation. Through the specific Cultural Exchange Fund, grants ranging from €10,000 - €250,000 are awarded to projects implemented jointly by cultural players in Poland and one or several of the donor states.

Artists, authors, NGOs, state archives, public cultural institutions, as well as local governments are eligible applicants. Proposals by a Polish lead applicant in partnership with at least one counterpart in Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway can be submitted to fund manager the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage until 28 August this year.
