Widening the Reach of EU Missions Through EEA and Norway Grants

May27 - 282024

The Research Council of Norway, in cooperation with the Financial Mechanism Office, invites to an event which will put the spotlight on how EEA and Norway Grants can support the participation of Widening countries in European Missions. This event will summarize 4 regional conferences held in 2023 in Bucharest, Porto, Prague and Warsaw, establish relevant next steps, and prepare for the future. This time we aim to bring the results and insights from the EEA and Norway Grants to Brussels.

  • The programme on Monday afternoon will focus on showcasing the results of the EEA and Norway Grants which are relevant for the five EU Missions, sharing information and experiences, and establishing a dialogue with Brussel based stakeholders. Here we welcome anyone interested in learning about the EEA and Norway Grants and the efforts already made to connect to the EU Missions. This part of the event will be streamed online.
  • For Tuesday we are preparing a half-day workshop with fewer participants and on-site only, to explore and map the points where EEA and Norway Grants can connect and contribute to the five EU Missions. The aim of the workshop will be to formulate concrete follow-points and advice for the future.
