Based on the results of pilot projects implemented between 2012 and 2014, the project addresses the complex needs of the marginalized population of the communities located near Cluj-Napoca’s wasteland in Pata Rât. The project aims to involve the people of these communities in the city development, as well as to support desegregation and fight poverty with integrated measures.During the kick-off event, the project will be presented, accompanied by discussions on various project-related aspects, such as education, empowerment and community participation, and the role of the local and regional institutions in social inclusion and de-segregation.The event is organised by the Cluj-Napoca Metropolitan Area Intercommunity Development Association in partnership with Asociația Comunitară a Romilor din Coastei, Habitat for Humanity Cluj, and the AltArt Foundation.Read more about the Romanian 'Poverty Alleviation' programme
