Official opening: Multicultural Museum Pavilion - the ASTRA Museum of Traditional Folk Civilization

The new pavilion will showcase the heritage of ASTRA Museum of Transylvanian Civilization and offer new welcome facilities for the open air museum from Drumbava Sibiului. Through the project at least 2000 cultural goods from ASTRA Museum of Transylvanian Civilization are being preserved. Furthermore, a permanent exhibition on heritage is being developed, as well as two other temporary exhibitions, one of which will be in Norway.The project is supported by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the Romanian 'Conservation and Revitalisation of Cultural and Natural Heritage' programme.
